Awesome nights racing guys (except for the few uninvited "guests" whose "creative" driving made for some interesting first laps).
Those FZ5's are an interesting drive. Virtually drifting (slightly) through every corner, and woe betide you if you lift off or power on too aggressively. I finally started getting the hang of preserving tyres too, and finished all the races with a nice shade of green across the board.
Got to do more of the loose car racing too.

I'm a Logitech G-Man!! G15, G25, G35, G500...

yeah was excellent fun...but god if i build a car that handled that bad and chewed tyres out like that id shoot my self ...maybe i was still in fox mode...like when the steering wheel is actually connect to the front tyres
uninvited guest made for full fields but i think i would have perfered them to not be there ..specially after getting taken out multipule times..and then getting pointers on how to drive from them was some nice icing on the cake:) .maybe a common password for all our events would weed these trouble makers out
good racing all
kks skin looked wicked

Yeah, was a good night fellas....
Interesting trying to get to grips with something that one would not normally choose to drive !
The team i raced with back in the UK... we used to run a series called the "Multicup Twist"... basically
Every week, involved a randomly picked track, a randomly picked car, all running on standard setups... (even the number of laps was random...)
It was a really cool series actually, and involved combinations that you just wouldn't have tried before.... we raced the RAC (how often does that thing come out) at a so4, we raced the bf1 at as club etc etc...
oh, and the final twist... each event, has the track run once each way !
Was a total of about 9 rounds, and fantastic fun !
just a thought

Re: [LFSNZ] THURSDAY NIGHT THUNDER, "T'N'T"
This sounds like fun we could call this LFSNZ Lotto! LOL
Re: [LFSNZ] THURSDAY NIGHT THUNDER, "T'N'T"
HAHA SOUNDS LIKE MADNESS
learning to drive one car/track/setup/reverse/reverse set up.pit lap combinations/ is starting to sound like a whole lota work to me
maybe in a semi serious series we could run nomal points on first two or wot eva races...and then on the last race
(bonus ball) reversed where anything goes.reversed grid.no restarts..run as a bonus fun event.and maybe less laps..with 1/2 points
my main issue is time
i had a grand total of about 25mins in the fz5 before qualifing ..(you know ..the one that handles like a sail boat)
but i did have and extremly busy week...normally ... me and antz (dr felix) sit down on mondays for a jam ...and then.5.30 on thursdays to polish shit up...now i think this is a fairly lax dial in period and always finish the OL stuff still learning new stuff..NOW to run a semi serious reversed last race with out the generall mayhem that was present last night..is really guna require more time to dial shit in.. which to me ..equalls consistant better racing with each other
reversed tracks always seem to suddlely become NEW TRACKS requiring a total relearn..(brain still learning first track here remember:)........lfs really dosent have that many tracks and at the shere pace the deves are putting stuff out..(not knocking them) i cant see many new ones on the horison.....
maybe save them for a rainy day
every thing else sounds like the bomb
the combos sound mad
does anyone here think extending the points down to last or wot eva place would make it more fun ???
i just hope i dont have to take the car cover off the fz5 anytime this year
defantly not random draw fz5 60lapper needing 78 friggen tyres changed to finish (unless of course its labled as a special lfs nzs drinking driving event lol )
cya ya in the XRT
