There is a penalty using reset anyway you have to be stopped with no cars around that might cause a yellow, i know some tracks its easier to reset in slower sections like kronik has said (that last south city track is a good example)
20 sec penalty could work maybe even a 10 sec with the added disadvantages of what you have to do to perform a reset. and it allows people to keep racing.

The types of penalties available in InSim apps (LFSLapper in our case) is:mik641 wrote:Or have a 20sec wait after you press reset policed by insim
PENALTY_DT (Drive Through)
PENALTY_SG (Stop/Go)
PENALTY_30 (30 Secs)
PENALTY_45 (45 Secs)
Also, we could make it so you can set a number of allowable resets per race (2 for sprints, up to 5 maybe for enduros), so pls put that in your posts as well.
I'm a Logitech G-Man!! G15, G25, G35, G500...

Re: CAR RESETS DURING RACING? NEED YOUR VOTE!
man some one voted for no resets at all and it wasnt even me
still feeling the drive throu
if we dont look at the bad side of it
it could have us all running bumper to bumper at 98% pace and all under controll
anyway praccy for RETARDED30% 2NITE AT BLACKWOOD REV
RESET ON

I voted there should be a penalty, but think a stop go is a bit sever, a drive through would be a better option I think. Stop go would completely destroy your race.

I too think a drive through is also more sufficient than a stop go.
