what would you do?
my girlfriend got herself a car yesterday, a nice shiny 1996 primera. quite a good car, but, she is disqualified. she lost her lisence for demerits and then got caught driving and got dq'ed for longer and community service. tonight i went over and she wasnt home so i waited til she got there in her car. i then took the key, opened her bonnet and took her leads. as you can imagine she was trying to stop me and yelling at me and that sort of carry on but i took them. i just dont want her to go to jail for doing nothing but driving. i dont thnk her 11 year old boy would like it either. am i a total pr1ck or a good mate? either way, i think im single lol

Re: what would you do?
Mate, I agree with my 11yr old colleague that you have done the right thing here. I hope she appreciates one day what it is you are trying to prevent happening. I think I've mentioned it before that my partner works in corrections (although a mens facility). Well she has some very sad work stories but interesting at the same time and whilst occasionally working in inmate visits tells of the sadness in the childrens faces as their parents try desparately to make some normality out of a situation that for most of them was preventable, if only they had heeded the warnings and listened to their loved ones.......please dont give up on her mate even if she pushes you away as that would only let her back at the wheel......your a top mate kiwi.

Hi there buddy - I agree with all - your doing the best thing here - If it were me, I think i would take it one step further and purchase a wheel clamp or two and make damn sure she got the picture - don't give up - she will talk to other and they will agree with us all also - good luck mate.
