Re: NEW SERIES ???
Awesome man, looks great, nice work!
Im confused on the weight penalties, you say the bottom 3 get to remove the weight, then the example you give (of 9 finishers) only shows P5-7 removing weight, not P7-9 as you would expect?

So for example with 9 finishers:
P1 +15kg
P2 +10Kg
P3 +5kg
P4 N/C
P5 -5kg
P6 -10kg
P7 -15kg

Re: NEW SERIES ???
should have said 7 finishers sorry
was thinking of everyone starting on 15kg for round 1 then round 2 we take off or add weight to top 3 and bottom 3.
Other thing i thought of is so we can have diff weight for round 1 could set weights from qualifying for round 1.

Re: NEW SERIES ???
Not so keen on that idea, you need some practice with teh weight you are going to carry as it changes these cars quite a bit.4aged wrote:should have said 7 finishers sorry

Re: NEW SERIES ???
To be honest, whilst the weight has an effect, its no different to the difference in amount of fuel youd be carrying in qualy vs race trim, or from a mid race refuel. And also no different to the weight that might get added to your car if you happen to go from 0kg to 15kg from one race to the next.
Just do it. We have plenty of warning to practice with and without the extra weight before the race and if anything, it levels the playing field a bit for the first round if everyone is driving a weighted car relative to their qualy times. Real drivers have to put up with these sort of weight penalties and changes the world over

Re: NEW SERIES ???
Ran some testing just then, and 30kg of weight slows you down by about 8 tenths of a second, 15kgs about 5 tenths.

Re: NEW SERIES ???
worked perfectly on lxs
see if we get the whole fox field running within a second a lap
now to turn of resets/restarts and force cockpit

Re: NEW SERIES ???
I'm with you on that kronik!
Re: NEW SERIES ???
Just to clarify this, Im all for the weight idea, just not the second part where we add weight after qually. End of each round should be sufficient.thorns wrote:Not so keen on that idea, you need some practice with teh weight you are going to carry as it changes these cars quite a bit.4aged wrote:should have said 7 finishers sorry
