The default sets were a great leveller. The problem with custom sets is that it usually just increases the gap between the fast guys and the rest of us. Those of us that practice more, and develop sets are usually both the fastest driver, and have the fastest set. I think that was evident in this series with most people being able to knock out a competitive lap time, if not challenge for the lead. Great fun, and those UFR races were epic. Sorry I couldnt make the last race, was out for dinner! I had turned a few laps and it looked like it could have been great fun!

+ lots of additional challenges created by running default
we were lucky/ clever? with track/car assignment allowing do-able gear ratios
but i think a possible allowance for when ratios and tracks are well out
its gota happen eventually ......defaults pretty cool


any chance we might see racing involving some of the new track map open layouts
eg fern bays corkscrew corner thing?
nz v8s series using tweak?

Tweak race would be loads of fun. Easy to tweak these days too
