[LFSNZ]WORLD SERIES Discussion
Re: [LFSNZ] TBO WORLD SERIES Discussion
I'd like to make the following suggestions:
Tracks:
Race all tracks, but just choose the longest variation of each.
Throw in a couple of enduros, but mostly race forwards and backwards sprints each night.
Cars:
Do like the Aussies did and have each racer use each TBO car at least twice during the series.
Points:
I'll have a race results system running in a week or so, so we can use that to determine race positions and points.
Let's try using the V8 Supercar points system for sprints & enduros, as that gives a good spread for consistency.
The kicker is that each racer must nominate 1 car to get a 5% bonus on points, and 1 car to get a 5% reduction over the series. There would be a strategy there in choosing which car would benefit from more points if you're going to be out front, or whether more points if you're mid pack or lower.

Re: [LFSNZ] TBO WORLD SERIES Discussion
we are still discussing details but its somthing that will be looked at, weight worked really well for the MNR TBO series i did,
In that series we had to do each car twice throughout the series but you chose the order. **beaten by krayy
**
not sure about doing long tracks all way through, tight tracks are fun!

Why not just a Simple Series.
1 car
All tracks (both ways) E.G. World series (doing all tracks)
How hard is that.
Wondering now if i shouldn't have mentioned it now.

Re: [LFSNZ] TBO WORLD SERIES Discussion
as you said it would take 13 weeks or something to do every track? i think by about 5 or 6 weeks people will have lost interest.
keep it to one track per location. so thats 6 weeks ( or 7 with autocross layout could be sprint race format)
weight penaltys would be good. what about restrictor for the fxo. isnt it about 4% to even it up?
if you did 6 rounds then you could use each car twice. nice and simple. then if you did 7 you could have the last round where you choose any car you like.

Well the weeks would be less if.
E.G. we used the RB4 for the world series.
And say "King of the Dirt" series also used the RB4, then those races can be counted towards the world series.
So we are not doing the same thing too many times in a year.

Actually, that's not a bad idea, as we havent done any RB4 dirt tracking in a while. A couple of dirt focussed rounds could be just the ticket mid-seriesSwivel wrote:Well the weeks would be less if.
