Ive said it before about this track, but cutting (all four wheels on the grass) on the left at the last chicane/esses can gain you up to a second per lap. I actually just about equalled the hotlap WR using this method!

The two tyre stacks on the chicane need to be bolstered with a few more tyres, or bales, or something, to discourage this practice. Relying on honour probably wont be enough as its so easy to 'accidently' drift wide on the first right hand part of the esses and finish with an advantage. Plus the further left you push it, the faster you can go, so there will be people deliberately pushing the boundaries of what is constituted as cutting.

There is an arguement, that altering the track layout, affects any practice youve been doing. However, there is a counter arguement to that, which is that you shouldnt be practicing cutting

All 4 wheels off the track is against LFSNZ racing rules, So the replays will be handy to check racers.

mmm yea, hard not to do here, bit of debate sometimes on this track about that corner! think we shall allow it as its the same/even for everyone

We could add a extre tyre but we didnt add tyres/barrier to server in practice so everyone would be practicing without it and bit unfair if we added it to server tonight.

Ah!!! hopefully i can make it tonight...krayy/steala might have to run it if i dont make it. Got afew thigns to do depends if get them done in time.....

if krayy hasnt managed to do lapper stuff in time just when 15min is up a admin will have to run /laps=XX command XX= (current laps @ 15min + 2)

I just added 1 tyre to each S bend... It appears to be OK and should be fine. Will decided at the time.

This gunna be on series server or another one?

We're on the Club server for reasons unknown...

The lapper mod seems to be working a treat though

Thanks for your patience tonight in helping debug the Race Timer guys. I think it worked okay.

I've updated it to show remaining time in properly formatted hh:mm:ss time, and also thrown in another switch to set the number of extra laps, e.g. "!mins 15 2" will set the race for 15 mins with 2 extra laps, "!mins 20 1" will set a 20 minute race with 1 extra lap.

Roll on next week.

Bloody close racing last night, so easy to fall behind with 1 bad corner. cheers all for great turn out!

Also Cheers for your good work Krayy with lapper...and yea we are changing it to 15min +1 lap as on the longer tracks 2 laps will add too much to the overall race time. will be aple on screen warnings anyway.
