InSim now has the ability to raise events whne you get car to car contact so I'm toying with the idea of a "Tag" mode, where we can play tag while in a race.

1 point for each lap completed as "it"

Mmmm...have to figire out some rules such as:
"If you tag the person who is 'it', then you cannot be tagged for 5 secs"
"If your speed is noticibly different then your tag won't count" - to stop people just stopping and letting you run into them.

I'll do the code for contact detection and we can go from there. Do some fun races.

The only problem with online tag or bump and jump events is lag. A bit of lag will see false detections and whilst hilarious at times, might get annoying!

After messing around in the car park last night, there was a general consensus that an Auto-x inspired event or even series would be great fun.

I am keen to run an event at some point, and I had an idea of running a multi race Auto-x series. It would be blind courses, so (aussies take note ) no week long practices. As there will be no qualy, a 15 min practice session on the night would take its place. Car would be something like UF1 because its perfect for these courses, or something equally small and pointy. Short courses (less than a minute ideally), and two turns each in the main event would mean that we could charge through the night in a reasonable time going on track one at a time.

Drop the worst round format would help those with social lives be front runners. Prize for best skin

Can we make the Skin a different theme each week? Send out the theme on the previous Friday which would allow time for us to come up (or steal) an appropriate one.

Different categories like, "Most professional", "Most likely to offend", "Most lurid" etc

Havent been on here for a month or so. Could be interested in that tag thingy, the autox thingy.. it all sounds like fun. I have plenty of layouts too.
