Re: WORLD SERIES 2011 - DISCUSSION
Yeah as i said im struggling with it cant make it turn in without washing off all my speed but ive turned 23 laps according to lfsworld with a pb of 1:31.260. Once ive actually got a decent amount of laps i should have it sorted to be able to run with everyone. i hope....
I reckon ive done alot more half laps then that too. Usually id do a few laps to get some temp up in tyres (not that i can heat up the fronts for some reason) then id try to get a good first sector where i was loosing all my time on chris and id either put it in the fence or decide i need to tweak something. Once i get some heat in the fronts i think the understeer should go away ive just got work out how to make them work harder

Well im bolloxed then. Tried a few laps just now. Best I could managed is a 1.32.5. May as well not bother if the 'ive never driven this car' peeps are already 3 seconds faster with no practice!

Re: WORLD SERIES 2011 - DISCUSSION
lol dyno itll be right, good chance to get some good points too this round with 4aged and sly guy out.
Started to get a handle on this thing last night but at that point was still about half a sec down on tiptops time he ran last night too. I knew i had more pace in there and i came back today with some ideas on how to make it turn without getting monster oversteer and its worked! Just did a series of mid 30's with the best at 1:30.38 which is still 0.16 down on tiptop but my TPB says a 1:29.9 which im pretty happy with if i can actually get there.

So what did you magically change to reduce the oversteer bud? Am very much interested in a more stable car! Wish I kept those setups we had when we did a LX4 series some million years ago... had a really good set for this track we're about to do...

Re: WORLD SERIES 2011 - DISCUSSION
I noticed it was behaving alot like a car with a locked diff yet it had a lsd so i dropped the pre load on it to about 100, gave it about +0.3 toe on the rear and took a bit of camber off each wheel too. I think i also dropped the rear roll bar to about 12. Dont get me wrong its still a pain to drive and still has some oversteer but its much better. Im still trying to get it to turn in in the first sector though but if you want i can send you the set at some point though your prob much better off asking tiptop

Krayy and Steala swap places, dyno stays between them, chris gets well above me now and tiptop closes in on wildboy.

Did a quick tally of points with everyones worst 3 rounds dropped....interesting!

Great races last night was a good combo. Looking forward to the next race, this car feels real nice at bl1r.
Did wildboy get fastest lap in race one. I thought i cleaned up for the night?

Rather enjoyed the race last night. Great battle with Sugo in race 1... Impressed with myself keeping up with the grid too... Bitch of a car but gave a really good race..

Re: WORLD SERIES 2011 - DISCUSSION
yeah i didnt get fastest lap in race 1, that was the race when tiptop smashed us all by alot. Good race with Chris though and race 2 was intense tiptop putting on so much pressure. I did quite a few good lap times while he was there but eventually i was just over driving it and couldnt keep him behind me
