Re: WORLD SERIES 2011 - DISCUSSION
lol solid effort man
did afew lapsoverthe weekend, cant remebermy time. Cant get anytemp into r3's, just surface temp, need to push harder, first corner will be key to go fst around, just have tobe brave nd take the right line.
the R/ L chicane is v hard to get power down without stepping out, have to wait...wait ...wait then get on the gas.

Re: WORLD SERIES 2011 - DISCUSSION
Well this is tonight, 8pm NZST
You guys (wild & Chris) looked pretty good in practice - 2 secs faster than me.
Should be a good race, pretty fun track in these cars.

We were running times pretty similar to you to start with but once we started pushing the time drops alot very quickly. We both made up over 1 second in the 2nd sector alone just by being very committed in the twisty stuff

Re: WORLD SERIES 2011 - DISCUSSION
Low turnout tonight, but high quality
Only four of us, me, Chris, Liam and Tiptop. I made an executive decision to shorten the race to one 20 minute race for two reasons. First, with four people, 45 mins was going to be quite dull, second, the Aussies forgot that we had jumped forward an hour at the weekend, and so showed up an hour late
Chris topped qualifying with Liam a close second, followed by me, and then Tiptop with 0 laps practice did well to not stuff it into a wall on this track! The race started promisingly with loads of extra speed available from drafting, but the inevitable minor collisions, mistakes, and difference in PB laptimes spread the pack out into qualifying order, and thats how it stayed for the racel albeit with Tiptop closing in on me fast when my setup cooled my tyres off to black
Liam managed a final fling on the final lap to get fastest lap

Right, looks like another non practice race for me! Have been busy enjoying GTR2 and its plethora of real life tracks
Im happy to admin again if needed. If someone can tell me what the command to get the GUI interface up on the screen is again as I forgot, I can remember the rest
Hopefully the aussies will be on time as the hour has changed for them too
