You really wanna come at the first kerb from quite a shallow angle as well, otherwise you have to rotate teh car to much to get it pointed back left for the next part. Thats why you really need to be aggressive over the first one, its reducing the angle needed for the left flick in the chicane. If you get it right, you only have to flick if left a tiny amount to get through the middle part.

No worries man I will let Steala know as he's enroute to Auckland now and I'm unsure if he will make to my place for the race anyhow.
GOOD LUCK WITH THE INTERVIEW BRO!!!
May we pencil him in to buddy up with you R33?

ok time to drop it i think but for the next race some people need to be a bit more mindful of others on track

+1 - Thanks very much for organising this event Kwak and LFSNZ
I think the Bad Luck Award should go to Thornz. I thought he more-or-less had this event in the bag.
I haven't watched the replay, but it seemed the holes that I snuck through on the first few laps had closed by the time you got there.
BTW, I ended up on R1s on the front, with R2s on the rear. It made it a bit taily when it was heavy and cold, but the tyres lasted through my rough-as-guts wheel-hacksawing pretty OK.
Thanks again all, had a good night/afternoon. Go A-Team - "I love it when a plan comes together!"
Bring on the City!
PS Guys like thornz and I (particularly me, probably) have done a billion laps at this track, so guys, don't beat yourselves up if you're a little bit slower. It just takes time, and a complete lack of social life
