Re: Powerskid Competition

I'll be keen if I can make the time. Any other rules or definitions of what constitutes a burnout? :D

Re: WORLD SERIES 2011 - DISCUSSION

doing laps over a second slower than my pb. That's really weird and almost sounds like pedals playing up or accidental changes to your setup (taking a slightly or significantly different line doesn't make much difference). After the races tiptop was still managing to get mid 37s with only three tyr...

Re: Proracingroom.com

I like that start time, it's when we'd normally start qual anyway.

Re: Proracingroom.com

No quali for this series but races start at 9pm Sydney (11pm NZ) with all round types going for about 1.5 hours total. The ProRacingRoom.com forums have all the details under the sign-up sheet. Starting this Sunday with the UF1 @ SO3 (which is a bloody track fun for it) then racing a faster class ea...

Re: Latest rig addition, work in progress

Yes, the FPS dropped but mainly because my graphics card is only an NVIDIA GeForce 9500GT and because the rendering is inefficient. MY 60-70FPS dropped to about 30 (during a large multiplayer start grid) - 50FPS (once the cars spread out). I had to turn anti-aliasing down also but can barely notice ...

Re: Latest rig addition, work in progress

Cheers for the reply. The reason I didn't mind too much about building my own projection unit was because cheap OHPs seem few and far between on TradeMe etc anyway, with a good supply at the $100+ mark. The downside to two units are that all the costs are doubled. Might just keep an eye out for any ...

Re: Latest rig addition, work in progress

Nice one dyno, I saw this a while ago and have been trying to get ideas for something similar. Could you foresee any problems with running two of these side by side (like a dual monitor setup with no frame)? What is the brightness like during the day? Impossible to use without curtains drawn? I mana...

Re: WORLD SERIES 2011 - DISCUSSION

Tonight was well awesome. A decent size grid and car that no one had much experience in except for Andre ( or so it seemed anyway). The only other time I've raced these cars was in the You Choose 50, but I got a decent amount of practice for last night because I wanted to get a feel for how to set ...
