anyone here work in IT?
coming to the end of my apprenticeship and thinking about re training. whats every ones profession how did they go about it and realisticly what are job prospects like in this industry dont want to spend another 4 years re training unless i have to,

IT ?? as in what area did you study. I'm an old fart in Computer repair / maint. Been doing it since the early 80's.
Infact just cracked out the old Amigas for a trip down the mem lane (before my memory goes ). Also re setup my old BBS system on my 286 16 for fun.
The IT industry is swamped with people coming out of training.
So What do you want to do is the best line, EG Business or on your own,

I thought I was wrong once, But I was Mistaken
