I think this series is turning into more a testing series for gtr parity checking. Hopefully this one will get run again and it will be all sorted. I think those restrictions should make it a bit more even though i think chris is going to need a few more kgs added lol

Yeah its all good mate, just wish other people actually made mistakes that cost them more than a second or two :D

Turned about 10 laps tonight and im 9 seconds off the AS5 WR with my weight, restrictions and half a tank of fuel and also keeping tyres cool which is a miracle!

yea sorry about changing restrictions, hopefully its ok now, that other series seems to use those restrictions ok.

did afew laps in XRR wasnt that quick, R2 get screwed in afew laps, will see how r3 goes, i think you need to learn to be smooth in r3's then they are ok, last time 1-2 ragged corners had my tyres red, but they came back nicely.

x2 big straights here so weights might make a big difference.

also remember x2 pits stops here...the server can only enforce 1 but i can see if x2 stops have been made in the LFS World results, . Also must change x4 tyres in both stops!

Points may be deducted if only x1 pit stop is made

Ive done a few laps, not particulaly pleased with the times (old restrictions though) and i reckon with 2 stops on the XRR R2's might just be doable. The R3's never build any temp at all for me at this track but the R2s are just a tad hot so maybe after some camber tweaks and pressures changes i can get them to last. Before that though i gotta work out this issue im having with it locking rears when i downshift to 2nd while turning in for those tight few corners

also play with wing angles, i think that will make a difference to tyres.

maybe diff settings need to be loosened to stop brake lock, or change into 2nd later.

That left right chicane bit its bloody hard to get a good run out of, hard not top step rear out.

LFS displays how many pitstops have been made at the end of the race alongside the results and timing in the top right of the screen :)

Re: SUPER 60 - Discussion......Round3: THURSDAY KYOTO GP

Postby 4aged » Sun Jul 17, 2011 10:58 am

asked steala for replays.
man sux i had to abandon race half way though, joys of having kids I guess. Was lining up wildboy for a good battle, at least i managed to come back and finish, good battle for fastest laps at the end! was pretty close - well done to sugo for gabbing fastest lap!

Chris and wildboy are pretty heavy now! anyone that turns up next week at KYOTO GP LONG can expect to be pretty quick! Shootout qualifying as well- 1 warm up them 1 hot lap and thats your qual lap.

Any thoughts on new restrictions??? hard to compare with KG on but wildboy and chris were similar, maybe remove +5kg for FZR??
