Where the FZR loses out is in braking. Its a much heavier car and has to carry more fuel. Ignoring alien lap times from Chris, my times were pretty consistent with the rest of the field in their XRRs (when I wasnt going ditch hunting!) and I was right with Liam in his XRR for lap after lap with both of us cutting in and out of a five second gap (until I binned it).

Yeah i noticed quite a bit even on Chris i would pull back a heap of time through the middle sectors but as soon as we got back around to the oval section with the turbo lag getting off the last slow corner and 10 or so kms down around the oval thats where we lost it alot but maybe once we go to the next track itll be the other way not to mention i forgot that you can change the aero on these cars so maybe chris was just running alot lower aero which would give a huge top speed difference. Think ill actually have to do some practise and compare it again.

Was a good night though. I really like the more enduro style races just a shame that chris was insanley fast and you guys made a few mistakes otherwise i think i had similar speed to you guys and it would have been a good battle. Hopefully more people turn up next week

yea thats to those who came, pity you had to bail Mike you were going so well in 3rd!

buggeri lost my place to Sugo on teh last lap, tyres were gone and had no pace left, you ate my up on the straights, must have been the weight and aero...i had 10deg of wing on rear, i think ill turn that right down when i am havy to help with top speed....depends on the track a bit too.

oh an results/points/weight tommorrow morning as well.

might do- 1st +20kg 2nd +15kg 3rd +10kg and the bottom 3 the opposite. will be some heavy and light people next week, at least I will be a bit lighter lol

not sure about restrictions yet...was thinking of going back to 5%/5kg for FZR and the other 2 cars normal but FZR is worse on fuel and braking,,,,will think about it.... might do some testing this weekend see what lap times i get with both.

Yeah bedtime at 9 for me unfortunately during the weeks now. I was only keeping up due to having 15% of fuel knowing i was going to leave early. I was slowing down for sugo to catch up for a battle lol
