mmm yea point taken about fast laps points, was in effort to add more incentive to people a bit lower down or faster people that have had a accident or somthing gives them somthing still to race for, maybe pole and fastest lap should be 2 pts each?

points wont be back dated.

Yeah some really good points made there. I agree with you guys in that pole should receive more points then fastest lap, but it is also good to have fastest lap points.. otherwise sometimes like 4aged said back runners dont have any incentive and they'll just cruise around.

Bummer =(
Ive had about 4 poles i think haha.

But yeah, awesome race the other night guys :D Good to see a few of the guys racing that i havnt seen for a while. Everyone has upped their competitiveness, so i need to find something to pull out of the bag :? This should be a good race aswell :D

Well. in a race where there is close racing, to get the fastest time shows good skills. Pole is easyer to get. And yes a BIG incentive in a race not to give up, So i'm more for the in-game lap being worth more.

I agree there with Swivel - for someone like me, I try to go for the fastest lap if I know I can on a few track / car combo's...

Will the chicane before the double apex right hander onto main straight be reinforced at all? There are significant advantages to cutting that chicane. The more you cut, the faster you can go. In normal configuration, its very easy to 'accidently' slide left and put all four wheels off the track without any problems.

A previous series I raced in placed some extra solid red and white barriers there on the left, and a few haybales around them. Seemed to do the trick :)

yeai think we may have done that before.....I think i I might put some barriers behind the tyres that are already there, i think its ok if you cut corners without all 4 wheels leaving the tarmac.

Its probably worth bringing the barriers over to the right a bit too, as its more than possible to get all four wheels off the tarmac (by accident of course) and clear the tyre bails that are already there. Otherwise youre going to have after race stewards enquiries :D
