Hey mate, welcome to lfs and even though im not from here welcome to LFSNZ youve found a great bunch of tough racers (There pretty good blokes too :D) hope you enjoy it and buy S2
As a demo user yes you can use skins but in order for other people to see them they must already be uploaded to lfsworld since demo users cant do it and i beleive its against lfs rules to ask for people to do it too. However if you go lfsforums and check out there skin section theres alot of great skins to choose from and then you just copy and paste them into your lfs skin directory which will be somewhere like: C:\LFS\data\skins. From there you go in game and while in the pits of the car you want to use a skin on you click "add new colours" i think it is and then select the skin you want.

Hope this answers your question and if you need any more help im more then happy to take a few screenshots to step you through the exact procedure. Enjoy LFS. BTW if you like the demo S2 is definatly worth the money.

PS i see you a TeamVodafone supporter. This is dissapointing as a BIG Kelly Racing supporter lol

Welcome AZBoy!! I see you found us from Trade Me. Great to see as we have been trying to lure in more racers with us. As Wildboy has mentioned, we are a great bunch of people so any kind of issues can be sorted with all the different levels of expertise found in our group.

I strongly recommend you take a step further into considering buying S2 license as we have on going racing series to race in.

I sure hope you have a microphone as we always log onto our own Voice server. We use Mumble and to help you get started please read here: http://forums.lfsnz.com/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=233&p=3109

We hope to see you on the tracks soon!

Thanks,

I might add some skins then. Am I also able to add tracks?
What are the benefits between the full license and the demo? I Am told I can still race on the LFS NZ servers with LFS Demo, or are there lesser servers on demo?

Well this is why S2 is highly recommended as demo and even s1 are very limited to track selections with only been able to drive the blackwood layouts in demo. you can view all the track layouts here and that gives you a fair idea of the differences between demo and s2. Obviously there are alot more servers to choose from too.

As to adding new tracks well technically you cant but what you can do is create layouts this along with a new feature that is currently in the test patch (open track configurations) you can choose one track location and every piece of drivable area is unlocked and you can then place objects such as barriers, cones, tyre bundles etc and create a new "track".

Also yes while you can run on LFSNZ demo server ( i believe they have one) all of the series are run on S2 servers to make the series more exciting with many more tracks which for obvious reasons demo users cant join. If your looking to learn there is some decent demo servers out there such as [AA] Blackwood i think its called which i occasionally go on for a little bit of FBM fun and theres a good mix of crazy fast people and newbies too.
